Eiade
Three Hlaalu guards had been killed off, leaving the Hlaalu with three guards and their guard captain. There are six party members, so the Hlaalu side numbers ten, and so does the Indoril. Since not all of the party is engaged in melee, the guards are outnumbered and may give out at any moment. If it weren't for their skilled captain, they'de all be dead. The party realizes that they must engage as many adept fighting members in the melee as possible. Tylen was at Vallrey's side, and saw that he obviously needed to keep fighting instead of stalling like this. "Daric!" He yelled. "You must heal him as best you can!" With that, he jumped right back into the fight and helped out the guards. Isaac: The spell is successfully cast, and it hits the enemy fighter. He is immediately affected, starts to choke a little bit, and falls to his knees. He doesn't seem to be in extreme pain, but it isn't pleasurable. He is suffocating and obviously feeling incredibly weak, and he eventually falls over, lifeless. The wound on your side is closing up by itself, and is completely healed. The spell was indeed quite strong. This leaves your magicka reserves a little low. You only have enough to cast two more spells or so. Before is the main fight, with Daric, Wren, and Vallrey on the side; Vallrey and Daric heavily injured, and Harver over on the other end of the boat by himself. You decide what to do.Harver: The thrust wasn't as accurate as you had hoped, and the spear head it slides over his armor. He instinctively whips around with his sword on high, and brings it down, giving you a gash on your forehead. You feel the blade scrape across bone, and blood trickles down your face. He knocks you over and is trying to finish you off, a but so far you have blocked and parried his attacks through the pain. You yell out for your friends in the party to help you. EDIT: The guards had killed off two of the Indoril by now. This leaves eight enemies.
FlightlessBird
Isaac took a long breath after defeating his foe. I need to be more rational...Come on man, think! Looking around, He saw Harver on the ground and in need of assisstance. He glanced at his wound again and saw nothing but averange Altmer skin. Satisfied, he faced Harver. The Man looked like he was wearing lead shoes, for his movements were only in his torso and above. Isaac hoped he would remain still, as his staff glowed Red. The Orb on the end of his staff released a ball of flame straight in the direction of Harvers attacker.
Harver
:: Searing pain ripped through Harver's arm. Adrenaline was only able to sade the pain so much. He tried to parry the indoril's attacks but it was getting increasingly harder as the weight of the sword against his spear was heavy on his wounded arm. He could barely use it as is::
Fishystick
OOC:Sorry for not being here but I've been really sick these last four days, getting better though. IC:Vallréy, injured by the sword in his chest, started to search his belongings for any useful herbs or potions, finding some corkbulb root(I think it is corkbulb that restores health) and some crab meat(for fatigue) in a pouch hanging from his belt.Eating it all, he felt a little stronger and did his best to keep the sword in his chest from shaking until he could get some real healing. tyjet3
Daric heard Tylen's call and got up... He was still in great pain. The wound had been very deadly. He struggled to stand. He put down his mace and lighten his load a little. "You ready?" He said to Wren. Wren gave him a quick nod and the two chraged into the battle. Vallery was the nearest wounded. An Indoril charged at Vallery, Wren jumped in front of the charge and blocked the attack. It stunned the warrior, but he just stepped back and continued to attack. Daric took the chance to heal Vallery. Blood was dripping down the end of the sword that was in his chest. Daric held the blade, "Vallery, don't move." Vallery just looked at Daric in a questionable manner. Daric yanked the blade out of Vallery's chest. He let out a horrific scream. With that done, blood began to flow even faster. Daric dropped his crossbow and raised his hands and sent a blue light down on Vallery's body. The blood stopped flowing, but you could tell Vallery was still in great pain.Daric reached out his hand and pulled Vallery up. His wound was now healed... Unfortunatly the pain still takes time to wear off. With Wren now in combat, Vallery stepped in to help out. "Wren and I have to get to the others! Can you handle this guy?" Vallery raised his sword and nodded."Wren, we have to get to Harver!"
Crim, The Red Thunder
Running beside Daric, Wren shifts her axe to one hand, and fumbles with a pouch at her belt. She pulls out a potion and checks the label. It's marked "Restore MAgicka" She hands it to Daric and says "I don't know how much magic power you have left, but i will offer you this... my magic wont do much good here, it's designed for stealth. The potion isnt very powerful, but you can make much better use of it." She hands Daric the potion, and shifts her axe back into both hands. Eiade
Isaac: The desctruction spell flies through the air, making a distinct dull roar. It nails Harver's attacker dead on, and he is knocked over, clothes on fire, and rolling around trying to put it out. Harver slowly gets up, and runs his spear through the man on the ground. You now may decide what to do.Harver: Your head is in blinding pain, and if you were to fight right now, you wouldn't be very good at it. You realize must get to the others, so you trot over, holding your forehead. You meet Wren and Daric. Daric gives you a small healing spell, and Wren decides it's time she jumped into the fray. You run over to the side of the ship, only to come upon Vallrey and an Indoril in a fight.Vallrey: You engage the one Indoril, and your pain distracts you. However, he is wounded as well. You both make some careless mistakes, and your clumsy battle continues. You may have eventually passed out from the pain, had it not been for Harver joining in. These three wounded combants probably made for a funny spectacle, falling over themselves, their weapons seeming to weight a hundred pounds, each thrust and slash being thrown rather than made. You two eventually take down the Indoril together, and go back over to the banister at the ship's side, and catch your breath. (Harver and Vallrey stand by for further instructions.)Wren: You are engaged in melee.Daric: You go over and join Vallrey and Harver. They are quite fatigued. The enemy are numbering fewer and fewer. You decide what to do. With Wren and Tylen now both engaged in the fray, the guards were getting the help they needed. Two more Indoril were killed in the fight, and one more was killed by Harver and Vallrey, but one more guard met his end. This leaves five enemies, and three guards (including the captain). EDIT: Daric used the last of his magicka to cast restore fatigue spells on Vallrey and Harver. (ooc: I decided to make your char. do this just to hurry things along) Vallrey and Harver jumped in the main fight and helped to finish off the remnants of the Indoril fighters. The battle comes to a closing as Daric unleashes some crossbow fire and Wren crashes down on the skull of an Indoril. Issac continued to assist with his destruction spells. Harver and Vallrey continued to team up on each fighter, one by one. Just as Tylen killed the last of the fighters, a red ball of energy hit him squarely in the chest. He felt his strength leaving him, and a few minor cuts opened up on his body. One of the Indoril mages landed in front of him, a purple mist coming out of his lower body from the jump spell, and his fist still glowing light purple from the absorb health/strength spell. His eyes glowed white and glared down upon a weakened Tylen. He was powerful. With his new-found strength, the mage wound up and upper-cutted Tylen, sending him flying back across the deck, and knocking over a few guards in his wake. He hit the side banister of the boat hard, breaking it. He had almost gone clear through the banister and was now unconcious. Two other mages landed on either side of the first, about 10 or 15 feet away. These didn't seem to be as powerful, but they weren't to be underestimated. The guards immediately attacked the mages, but they had previously given themselves strong shield spells, and the guards' physical attacks didn't do as much as they had hoped. These were combat-oriented mages, not nessecarily meaning that they used weapons as well as magick like a battlemage would, but meaning that they studied magick and certain spells that would be used in a fight, and nothing else. The mages cast their spells and unleash some devastating attacks. They easily dispatched the three guards to unconciousness. The three mages stared down the at the stunned party, and the center mage spoke. "If this group had not intervened, this boat would be at the bottom of the ocean right now, and we would've suffered minimal losses. But now, our whole platoon is dead, and this skimmer still floats. Now... Might I ask who you all are, and what you're doing here, and why you are on a boat that only high-ranking and trusted members of the Hlaalu House are allowed to board?" tyjet3
Daric looked at his stunned and fatigued group. Tylen was at the other end of the ship and seemed unconcious. The leader mage came over and looked directly at Isaac. Isaac simply looked up and looked back down again. The mage, angry with Isaac's silence, kicked Isaac and he feel on to his back. The two other mages circled around the group slowly... ready to make a move incase anyone tried anything. The head mage came over to Daric and looked down at him. "Who are you?" he demanded. Daric looked around at the group, deciding whether he should say something or not. The mage moved down to face the next person, Harver. "Tell me who you are!!" the mage screamed... Eiade
Tylen knew he was unconcious. From his dream world he tried desperately to wake up, and eventually did it, but he was so exhausted. He couldn't really move without being in a lot of pain. He could feel his own blood leaking from where he had hit his head on the banister, and felt it running through his hair. He had minor cuts and openings all over his body, all of which were quite painful, and he had several bruises from the battle. All he could do was catch his breath. He heard yelling, but it was muffled. It was only one person yelling, he could tell that. Many things went through his mind as he lay there, unable to move or even open his eyes. That mage was quite powerful. He knew there were at least three mages, from when he saw the Indoril fighters have spells put on them and leap across the water. And if they each had that much power, they could've definitely taken out the guards or even all of the party. But the party and the Hlaalu guards had killed all of the Indoril fighters, which means, he reasoned, they are probably yelling at the guards/party about what the heck the party was doing there. He couldn't think of anything other reason that the mages wouldn't simply attempt to kill the party immediately. He felt his sword still in his hand. He must do something. He tried barely opening his eyes. He had to know exactly the situation. His first several tries failed, but he eventually got one eye barely open, and looked around. The main magick-user was walking in front of the party, and yelling something. He finally opened his other eye. The two were back a few yards, crossing their arms. What he needed was a healing spell, but he didn't know how to get Daric's attention without moving. Daric's eyes were already at the ground, and if he shifted his eyes just a little bit, the Breton would see that he was awake. He waited. OOC: For now, noone speak. Only write thoughts. Crim, The Red Thunder
Wren stared at the mage walking around the ship, questioning the party. She debated spitting in his face when he came by, but turned down the possibility, since the mage had the uppper hand here. Might work as a distraction though... she couldn't see the other party members, so she decided against trying anything.
