Wren quietly draws her crossbow, and begins sneaking for the most powerful of mages. she silently draws her crossbow, and trys not to clank too hard... she literally creeps toward him, slow as she can go with the somewhat hectic situation occuring around her. She draws close to him (around 10 feet... maybe 5) and raises the crossbow. She prepares to fire, assuming he doesn't notice her...

OOC: DOH! Shoulda put stealth as my last major, instead of mercantile... drat...

Harver: Your attack goes towards the mage to the right (towards the front of the boat). You are flying through the air towards the mage, and he sends a paralyze spell at you. It hits you, and your immobile body still sails through the air, and your spear penetrates deep inside of his stomach, and emerges out the back, before the mage dies, he touches your arms and casts a powerful drain health spell. Cuts, wounds, and bruises open up throughout your body. As he releases his last bit of air, the paralyze spell stops. You are in too much pain to get up and fight.

Isaac: The destruction spell sails through the air, and hits the mage. He is electrocuted and falls to the ground shaking and convulsing. Wren sees the opportunity, and slices across his neck with her axe. He is dead.

The third mage, upon seeing his two comrades fall so quickly, casts a water walk spell, and while he is jumping off the boat, he casts a spell which issues forth green mists that envelope his body. He is heavily chameleoned. The party loses track of where he is.

He runs between the boats, and uses the last of his magicka to use powerful telekenesis. He opens up three side hatches to the Indoril boat, which is now less than a yard from the Hlaalu skimmer. With some effort, he tugs at the air, and three downward-angled steel-capped battering rams come swinging out of the side hatches, and bust massive holes in the side of the Hlaalu ship, and water begins to fill the ship. The party runs over to the side of the boat, and he is spotted. Daric shoots him in the face with a bolt, and his body falls into the water.

The guards wake up and realize the situation.

"Our only choice is to board the other boat!" Yells the guard captain. With that the party jumps over on the Indoril boat, and guards sheath their swords, ditch their shields, run down into the lower storage, and start to drag out the more valuble chests of Hlaalu items. They get several chests out, and the party helps them onto the Indoril ship as the Hlaalu skimmer sunk below the water.

"Where to now?" Asked one of the guards.

OOC: Wow. Sorry for moving so fast. I just wanted to get everything moving along. The guard is addressing everyone, so you may respond.

Out of breath, Isaac asks, "Did we get all of the most valuable supplys out of the ship?" Then his glance moves to the water. Bodies located at the bottom of the sea made him sick and disgusted. "I dont want to be a bother but I think that we should give the Hlaalu men who died for us a proper buriel. Out of respect for their fighting..." Isaac waved his hand in mid air, signifying the possible use of telekinesis and rest of his magic to move them out. With that said he waited for a response.

Daric watches Isaacs attempts to lift the bodies out of the water. The resistance of the water makes raising the bodies difficult. It starts to rain just as Daric runs over to help. Rain runs down both their faces as they strain to lift the bodies. Fortunately, there weren't too many to lift. Only five guards and two crewman... I guess most of the crew jumped ship...Together the two mages use the last of their power to lift the bodies on to the deck of the new ship. Once the bodies are safely on board, Daric and Isaac find some old blankets in the cabin and cover the bodies. "We will bury them once we have docked." Daric said quitely.

The rain continued to fall as the group spreads out amongst the ship. Each person doing their own versions of post-battle. Daric, Harver, and Issac were sort of in a state of shock. A battle like that one does't happen everyday...

The thoughts of shoulda, coulda, woulda's fill Daric's mind... The Indoril may claim this one as a victory, but we fought the best we could... Daric looked up. The party looked weak, tired... Daric couldn't help but worry. He got up and asked everyone, including the guards. "Does anyone need healing of any kind?"

The guards had gotten most of the more valuble and historically significant items, but they had lost a lot.

"The council won't be too happy about this," mumbled one of the guards.

"We did the best we could," said another. "Who could've expected such an attack?" Other guards were solemn, and some in tears for their fallen comrades. Not many guards actually died in service.

It stopped raining, and the clouds became more sparse, and the sun began to peek out every once in a while.

Daric asked who needed healing, but as he looked around, he realized almost everyone needed healing of some sort. Harver had a gash on his forehead, that was the worst right now.

Tylen took out the letter.

"The next attack will be in Vivec," he said to the group. "The poisoning. Tomorrow." He had splattered blood covering his face and his armor. He took a rag and wiped his face clean, then looked at the position of the sun. It was about 1 or 2 in the afternoon. They were still off the coast near Hla Oad.

"The letter says that the feast will be held at noon tomorrow. What should we do?"

::Harver wipes his forehead off. His hand returns red. He turns to the party::

Not to break topic but I'm going to need either healing or some stitching. If this doesn't get sealed up soon I could get infected or I could get blood poisoning.

Daric sees that Harver is in the worst condition. A large cut is on his forehead. Daric pulls out some of his herbs that were already processed into a paste. See as how his robe was already ripped he tore off the arm and used some of the cloth to apply the paste. "Here, this will prevent scaring..." He places the paste covered cloth on his forehead and bring Harver's hand up to hold it in place. Meanwhile, Daric pulled out a vial, void salts and water, and drank it... a disgusted face went over Daric.

Once he had downed the vial, he prepared to cast one of his spells. He raised his hand and pulled back his lone sleeve. He then released the spell. Harver's back arched as the power went through his body. Daric could tell Harver was relieved to be in good health again. Harver pulled the cloth away from his forehead, the gash was gone and not even a scar remained.

Daric then got up and pulled out another vial as he looked at the rest of the party, wondering who was next...

:: Being the simple country man that he is, Harver naturally tensed up when he felt the magic glide into him. His back arched but he was surpirsed that he felt no pain. Quite the contrary, actually. Harver felt pretty damn good. A smile of relief came over his face when he lightly touched his forehead to feel no wound, hell, not even a scar.::

Daric, that was some mighty fine spell.

:: Harver continued to lightly rub the place where the wound had been::

"May I see that paper with the plans on it Tylen?" Isaac asked. Tylen handed the paper to Isaac and Isaac's attentive eyes scrolled down it. Hmmmm... Isaac thought. "Does anyone happen to know where the Hlaalu Ancestral tomb is?" Thats in 3 days and I want to know if it is far away. I dont think it will take..." Isaac looked around and resumed, "...Take 6 people to stop drinks from being poisened. I could be wrong. But I'm just thinking outloud here, IF the tomb is far away we could send half and half to each location. I have no idea where it is so it could be right next to Vivec for all I know." Isaac handed the paper back to Tylen and continued to think.

"The Hlaalu Ancestral Tomb is southeast of Molag Mar," said Tylen. "I've been there before. It takes a couple of days to get there. We can take the long way by traveling along the coast, or we can take the harder, shorter way by island hopping across the bay."

Tylen thought for a moment.

"The Indoril may have someone on the inside who is poisoning the drinks. It may be harder to stop than one would think. What we have to do is stop them from drinking anything. Anything could be poisoned, heck, maybe all of it. But first, we have to decide what we should do right now. Here we are, next to Hla Oad. Obviously we need to get to Vivec. Since the Hlaalu canton is the most western one, it might even be faster to dock off at Ebonheart, buy some supplies, then run down the path and get to the Hlaalu canton. Sound good?"
