Ella81
OK, so I'm tired of building Settlements from the scratch, every time I start a new game. So I'd like to build the Settlement, then save it to file, and implement it back when I start a new game. Now, I know, there are plenty of those mods, but I'd like an advice which to choose, I use Place anywhere and Scrap everything mods, clearing a Settlement usually takes ages, sometimes the same time as building. I don't use "scrapAll" command, cause it deletes everything, even Settlers which leave there. When I use this command in Sacntuary, this command even deletes the Minuteman Statue outside of border, which I honesty don't understand. It's OUTSIDE! I shouldn't be able to tought it! So I clear everything Manually. Now, The question is, If I clear all trash and derbis, and so on, build a settlement, and store it, will the trash/derbis etc be back after I load the settlement at the newly started game? LarannKiar
OK, so I'm tired of building Settlements from the scratch, every time I start a new game. So I'd like to build the Settlement, then save it to file, and implement it back when I start a new game. Now, I know, there are plenty of those mods, but I'd like an advice which to choose, I use Transfer Settlements. It's working perfectly for me. My advice: before importing a settlement from a blueprint, create a powered object (i.e. Light Bulb) or generator in the settlement that you'd like to import, then nuke that settlement. This resets the power grid of the settlement. If the power grid hasn't been reset (which can heppen), objects that require power won't be powered after the import is complete. (It may be fixed in the newer versions, I don't know..). Now, The question is, If I clear all trash and derbis, and so on, build a settlement, and store it, will the trash/derbis etc be back after I load the settlement at the newly started game? Yes. Editor placed objects can't be deleted actually. When you scrap them, they'll get disabled and marked for deletion. Their disabled status is stored in your save game. Ella81
So saving/loading blueprints of the Settlement is probably not as helpfull as I hoped. I still wonder about SimSettlements 2 mod, but on my old savegame I've had an issue of settlers standing all day in the same place. However a vission of not having to build them houses is a bit tempting. Then I could simply clear settlement from trash/derbis and build plots. I don't know why this plaque of idle settlers appeared, was the SS2 mod bug, or the fact I've installed it in the middle of the gameplay. Be careful then. That's not an uninstallable mod.. Yes I know there are no such mod :)
Ella81
Maybe I'll give SS2 another try on new savegame. If it wasn't those idle settlers, it would be even good. About clearing Settlements from trash/derbis, I often use the console command to move a road )and other stuff I don't wanna delete by accident) up in the sky, delete all trash, and then put it back on the ground. Thank's to this I don;t have to reload the savegame over and over just because I don't wanna demolish something important.
