chazzranger
Opinions please!Got a new PC + ultrawide, wanted to start up Skyrim again, been away from Skyrim & modding for over a year. Find out about the AE upgrade and now faced with a choice. Roll back to SE proper and start building my mod list, or stick with AE (I won't purchase the upgrade, I already own the only Creation Club content I want) and wait for a few more mods to update? Does the AE update bring anything else to the table to make it worth not rolling back? Also, I have copies of cleaned plugins for 1.5.80. Can I just use them, or do I need to use the Unofficial Downgrade Patcher to properly downgrade? Thanks for any advice!
7531Leonidas
A suggestion - look at SKSE Modding Wiki (https://modding.wiki/en/skyrim/users/skse-plugins) first, looking for SKSE plugins that you might want, and if they are updated for v 1.6+ yet. If there is/are some you can't live without that haven't yet been updated, or may not ever be, that could answer your question for you.
Supersaiyangoku84
id stay on 1597 se , to many mods havent been updated yet and many more wont ever be due to mod authors leaving months/years ago , if you have a fully functional game with mods atm i wouldnt bother upgrading and breaking your game/save file over a update mainly based around fishing , the risk simply outweigh the reward here specially if you use any obscure/older mods
