Stretching Flamer Projectile

I wasn't getting a response in that thread so I tried stretching the projectile in NifSkope using the scale vertices thing. Scaled Z axis to 4 and I got a message saying "link points to wrong block type." What am I doing wrong and how would I go about making a longer flamer projectile?

I've never had any luck scaling a single axis in NifSkope. I haven't changed any projectile meshes, but to stretch other objects I've used Blender. And depending on the type of object, the Blender import/export settings can be tricky so it's often easier to make a copy of the NIF, import that to Blender, stretch it along whatever axis you want, export it, load the modified NIF in NifSkope, copy the NiTriStripsData block (just copy, not copy branch), then load the original NIF and Paste Over the NiTriStripsData block there. That way you don't have to worry about any other attributes that might have gotten lost in the Blender import/export steps.

Thanks. I'll try that once I figure where the stretching function is in Blender. (Yeah, I'm new at this. At the moment, all I'm getting is a bunch of arrows once I import the .nif into Blender. I'll edit this post if GREAT SUCCESS or I screw up some more.)
