naggar127
okay so i don't really know how to explain this but here we go. You start the game with markers placed on every single town or village, regardless of wether or not you have actually discovered them. this really removes the "exploration factor" from the game, as i would just be like "nah :p" and fast travel. Is there any way to remove all the map markers and start off with a clean map, the way it is in Skyrim? Thanks!
Maskar
In the console type tmm 0, or in a script con_togglemapmarkers 0. I do exactly that in my overhaul mod.
naggar127
Thanks. But It hid all the markers away for good. I found a good mod thoughhttp://oblivion.nexusmods.com/mods/26389/?tab=1&navtag=%2Fajax%2Fmoddescription%2F%3Fid%3D26389%26preview%3D&pUp=
Maskar
No, it doesn't hide the map markers for good at all. You can simply find them again like normal. Edited September 7, 2013 by Maskar
VikingofTamriel
AFAIK you only start With the main cities + Weynon Priory, none of the smaller villages. And I don't see what would be immersion breaking With that, I'd see it as rather realistic that a map would already have the most important cities marked, whether you'd visited them or not...
