Deleted6986925User
After I finish speaking with Riordan at the city gates the final companion dialogues are not triggering. I have the following large mods installed and followed all the directions to make them compatible: ZDFZevran Wedding ModZevringZevran Romance ScenesDahlialynn's Alistair EpilogueDahlialynn's Alistair First NightImproved Romance Scenes and Fixes AlistairDahlialynn's Sleep Until DawnMorrigan Restoration PatchMild romancesSer Gilmore (his gate dialogue triggers)Ser Gilmore First Night Any suggestions would be helpful. Thandal
1. Uninstall them.2. Check that the vanilla Gate dialogues trigger correctly.3. Add them back a few at time.4. Check after each addition that things still work.5. Identify the one at which things break. Troubleshooting from there depends on which one it was...
DahliaLynn
I can tell you straight off the bat that none of my mods affect dialogue nor Single Player (Vanilla) plot settings.
theskymoves
I would first double and/or triple check that I'd installed correctly both the Gilmore-compatible ZDF and the additional ZDF Gilmore compatibility pack. (All from the ZDF download page.) The files for the city gates conversations are party_events.dlg/party_events.dlb. I'd check my override for multilple/conflicting versions of both. Deleted6986925User
I didn't think it was any of your mods Dahlia, but figured I'd list all the big mods I had in case someone asked. As a worst case scenario I figured I'd get rid of each mod one at a time to see if that fixed the problem, but I think theskymoves's suggestion is exactly what is wrong in my case. Thanks for the input and I will test that later today.
DahliaLynn
Ah no, you did the right thing in listing my mods as well. You never know how certain mod combinations could cause issues. I just posted to let you know that in this particular case they don't affect dialogue nor conflict with your other mods. Theskymoves' suggestion is definitely the way to go. Worst case scenario is to uninstall all of them, load an unmodded save if you can and do as Thandal recommended.
Deleted6986925User
Ugh, I tried following theskymove's suggestion, and made sure I only have one set of party_event files in the override folder and the dialogue still didn't trigger. I even removed that single set of files and had the same problem. Looks like I am going to have to delete each mod one by one until I figure out the issue. Thanks for the suggestions anyways. Thandal
... Looks like I am going to have to delete each mod one by one until I figure out the issue. Much faster to do it the way I suggested and DELETE THEM ALL FIRST and make sure the vanilla game is working properly. (Nothing more frustrating than messing about with your mods only to discover that what you have is a base-game problem! :pinch: ) Then add them back three-or-four at a time until you ID the troublemaker.
Analiza
In my case it was cc_core_package.erf. Dialogues started to work normaly when I delete it.
