BlaCkBlitZ
I have this idea for converting financial and medical clipboards into pre-war money (or bottlecaps if in separate .esp). Maybe some of you modders can think of a different story but I'm giving this idea as it is. Terminals that allow you to convert (type in the codes for the accounting or medical insurance) into pre-war money. I'm mainly stating pre-war money because I have some mods that actually gives pre-war money some other uses. Like placeable equipment and buy a quantum. EDIT: Okay, I got this idea.... I'm no genius at scripting nor can I even script at all (or tinker with GECK). Is it possible to lets say, for each withdrawal make it a base of 5 pre-war money stacks. Then it triggers a chance based on your luck SPECIAL. 1 Luck = 5% / 2 Luck = 10% / 3 Luck = 15% / 4 Luck = 20% / 5 Luck = 25% / 6 Luck = 30% / 7 Luck = 35% / 8 Luck = 40% / 9 Luck = 45% / 10 Luck = 50% If successful, it will add another stack or 2 stacks onto the base of 5. Meaning it gives you a total of 7. if even more possible, another trigger opens up after the first trigger. Which means it can keep on going on adding 2 stacks and 2 stacks. This way it makes it feel like the numbers of each clipboard varies.
necKros
But why would clipboards give you money? They're just used to write down data.
Stewb
Wouldn't it be better to have a npc doctor collecting old medical clipboards, paying you in either pre-war money or caps? This would be a bit more realistic, especially if you added a backround story like he/she is researching old diseases/conditions to improve their medical knowledge. Could even add an expanded medical supply for sale, after getting x many clipboards, if you make the npc a trader too.
necKros
Now that's quite an interesting idea! The reward could be that expanded med supply or free healing services either.
BlaCkBlitZ
But why would clipboards give you money? They're just used to write down data. Well I did say this... "Terminals that allow you to convert (type in the codes for the accounting or medical insurance) into pre-war money." You have to imagine alittle when the terminal converts the clipboards to money. Something like an ATM but Financial clipboards serve as accounting information, and medical clipboards can be like... Medical insurance or something. But yeah Stewb's idea is good too. Helldrone
Would it not be odd that there is still active terminals that hands out Caps? or Pre-war money i mean Raiders would surely beat it to bits and robbed it by the time you where in the vault and such.... im just thinking a bit realistic :/

I use buy a quantum mod. Which lets you use pre-war money or caps to get quantums from vending machines. So I am a fan of realism, but not wayyy too realistic. As for your odd questions, isn't it odd for most garbage cans and mailboxes in the outdoors to still be standing up when even the strongest buildings have large holes in them? I sure as hell don't think raiders saw the garbage cans lying on the floor and decided to promote environmental cleanliness by placing the garbage can back in place... So thats my take on the realism factor :) It can be realistic in some ways, but lets not put full realism to it.
