Skyrim XBONE Kaidan 2 mod bug

I need help. I recently got back to playing elder scrolls games when a friends son told me that Skyrim can be modded on XBone. After buying the new 10 year special anniversary edition I went through the mod list and grabbed the USSEP, some cosmetic mods for hair and eyes, the mod that lets you sit anywhere in the game, the mod that lets others use the double bed and sleep next to you, the weather bundle that makes Skyrim weather more realistic, Visit Bruma 1-4 mod, moon and star mod, and companions Lucien, Inigo, the dog lady you meat in Solstheim, and Kaidan. I started playing sometime in December and had 0 bug issues until 2 days ago. I was romancing Kaidan in the game and got to the point where he proposed and my character marries him outside and we go buy the house in Ivarstead and sleep 1 night there. The next morning my character and Kaidan climbed the 7,000 steps up the mountain to start the dragon born main quest and then climb back down and sleep again. (Playing survival mode) All is still okay. But once we leave I hopped on my horse to ride to the next quest and halfway there I noticed that Kaidan isn't on Kiai. I ride to my destination and walk through the door and there he is. I leave and get on my horse and that's when he starts walking away. I hop off horse and chase him down and talk to him and noticed that the dismiss from group dialogue option is gone. If I stop talking he continues to walk away. I ask him to stay and wait there he says okay be safe but then continues to walk away. I exit game try to rearrange mod order to no avail turn off and on XBone and still nada. I load a previous save and bug still there. I figured out that it happens only if I hop on horse or tell him to wait so now I am walking everywhere in the game and no longer ask him to wait for me. I still notice moments when walking long distance where he just stops walking and stands in place and I have to go back and talk to him to get him to follow again.

 

Has anyone else ever heard about this bug or encountered it themselves? Is there a fix? I'd hate to start a new game only to have this happen again. Kaidan is a great character and he makes fighting hard battles seem easy. I have died a lot less in this playthru than any other. Any help would be appreciated ð
