arvust Posted September 8, 2013 Share Posted September 8, 2013 Hello Modders!I'm a concept developer and project manager seeking a team capable of bringing to life a whole new world through Bethesda's game Skyrim. Project Information:There is no absolute deadline, and the approach to this overhaul will be very casual.There will be no commitment necessary. It will be no issue if you agree to participate then cease to do so in the future.At this point in time, there is no documented information for the overhaul.The development of the concept will be discussion based upon the teams ideas through the use of social mediums.Each team member is not limited to their assigned tasks within the project.The concept will be based upon a steampunkesque, dystopian future (a cross between Dishonored and Skyrim, if you will). Your class will be loosely based around your role in society, for example you could be an engineer, which would allow you to create tools that could be used for an array of things. Or a Bounty Hunter that uses his stealth and weapons to achieve his goals. There would perhaps be a few class based quests, but the ones that were open to all classes would have different paths depending on what you are.I understand such an overhaul is a big project, hence the first two dot points under Project Information, and I'm not entirely sure how much free reign the creation kit has. Which is why posting this has been one of my first steps. Morgwynn Posted September 10, 2013 Share Posted September 10, 2013 (edited) It almost sounds like your describing the game " Arcanum Of Steamworks And Magick Obscura " type mod add-on for Syrim. There are plenty of Dwemer modders resources out there and the Dwemer ruins with the gears and steam engines have a Steampunk feel about them.
