Need help accessing local map files

I'm using GECK to get information for the FNV guide I'm writing. I'd like to view the local map (.dds) files from the game, but I can't figure out where they are. I've tried searching and multiple sources (this for example) say it should be in the directory "Data\Textures\Maps". I'm using the Steam version of FNV, would that be the same directory as "C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Fallout New Vegas\Data"? And does that mean it's somewhere in the "Fallout - Textures.bsa" file? Thanks in advance.
