AmirWannaSkyrim
Legendary skills have one huge problem:It makes your character weaker, and it makes it lose the point and perks in the skills it actually excels in. Currently, reseting your main skill (say one/two handed or destruction) is suicide, and reseting craft skills just sucks if you want to make good items/potions.So you must opt to reseting the skills you don`t use, which makes the mechanisn all useless, because the whole point is leveling up the same way you did before.I have just the thing that will solve that:Instead of reseting your perks, making skills legendary must-A) Not reset perks, never mind the skill level (as if with the 'addperk' console command).B) Let you retain the same level of skill but still allow you to level up: as if you have 15 point a passive bonus of 85 will be given, a level 16 skill will get 84 and so on, as with the 'modav' console command. This way you could still level up, while using your major skills, and still having them being at max and granting you the same perk granted abilities. The only problem is script is needed to make these to processes automatic and fun-to-play, as using the console wastes time and leaves you with extra perk points. a mod like this is sure to help many people and improve gameplay and skyrim itself a whole lot. If someone can achieve making that - he will obviously be granted eternal life in script-sovngarde. Simniac
I agree 100% to this, why in the holy mother of f*ck didn't Bethesda do this instead? Why being forced to only level up non combat skills in a tedious way?
stebbinsd
Have you considered "Skyrim Community Uncapper?" It lets you level all your skills up to 1,000, while gaining benefits for skill-ups up to 199. You can even customize your max skill-ups (e.g. you can set it so tha you can level up your skills to one million, if you so choose), and the max when you stop gaining benefits (so, if you only want to gain benefits up to skill 100, to avoid overpowering yourself, you can do that). This. I combine the Skyrim Community Uncapper with Uncapped Perks by Liberta. You eventually will get very overpowered, as if you already didn't in vanilla, but with the combination of the two, I find leveling skills in the game feels almost limitless.
