new profile in Vortex question

I just recently allowed steam to upgrade se to ae but did not buy the extra content pack I just wanted fishing and surveil mode now it has been working very well with a few mods but I do have a problem with.. in every tavern in the game there is a floating set of teeth just floating there doing nothing but being there?

I started a new profiled after the update so it should be a clean save file could it be some kind of bleed through from my old game I purged everything before the update?

Just guessing, here, but those floating teeth may be NPC's in the taverns, whose texture or mesh files are corrupted, so that there's no body any more, but the floating teeth.

 

Sometimes floating teeth occur when High Poly or other kinds of custom heads/faces are used and the NIF nodes for the mouth don't match the ones for heads in the vanilla game.

 

Just guessing. This may have to do with one or more mods in your playthroughs. You might also post this on the Vortex forums, though this does not sound related to a Vortex issue.

 

You could test by setting up a Profile with NO mods enabled, and see if you can "recreate" the error.

If that doesn't work, you could try this:

1. Install this mod: https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/19250

2. Boot the game and open the console.

3. Click on the teeth. In the lower right hand corner of the of the screen is mod information (if you don't see it, hit Tab until you do).
