P1NK N1NJ4
EDIT AGAIN: thanks guys for all the help, I finally got it to work. the problem was that somehow ArchiveInvalidationInvalidated didn't work, so i had to change the blnvalidateoldfiles or whatever it's called manually. i'm going to leave this up just in case someone has the same problem, so maybe it'll help. thanks again for the help. i also found out how to do this: :starwars: wow that's cool. Interfer0
They don't need to be in the BSA files, just in a directory like /textures/clutter/food.
Smosh
You don't add them to the bsa file. Unzip the mod and just place it in your Data folder. I'd suggest reading the readme file that would have come with the mod. It'll explain everything you need to do in there.
Guest
I've just started to try to mod my install of FO3 and nothing seems to work. I've used the mods that require a .esp to run and they don't remain checked. I've tried installing mods that just require you to paste in the textures and the meshes and nothing shows up in game. Any suggestions? This is really begining to frustrate. I've modded the hell out of Oblivion and went on to this and I don't understand why nothing is working. Thanks for the support. Smosh
First things first...don't use the Fallout Launcher to load mods or start your game. There is an issue with the mods unchecking themselves. Use Fallout Mod Manager (FOMM) Using just textures and meshes you will need ArchiveInvalidationInvalidated Once again I can't emphasize the importance of going through the read me step by step. I'm in the same boat you are *sighs* Been trying for weeks to get mods working, and all I get now for following the "step-by-step" instructions mentioned above is a game that crashes at startup now. I've even uninstalled, deleted all the extra's...... and crash at startup again. I'm about to shelve this damned game.
