Crim, The Red Thunder
I finally got my hands on a gamepad in stores, pluged it in, and installed it. Seems to work fine with most programs. Unfortunately i turned morrowind on, and the right stick on the controll, is rotated 90degrees ingame. (left is up, right is down, up is right, and down is left. VERY confusing.) Is there any way to fix this within the morrowind world? (without destroying its usefullness in all my other programs, where, it works like it is supposed to!) PLEASE HELP! I am tired of the shoddy mouse i am stuck with (it sticks. Badly.) And the gamepad would work SO much better, aside from the changed postion of the black and white buttons, it is pretty much identical to the x-box controller, which i grew attached to playing morrowind. If it helps, i am using an 'axispad' controller.
UberBender
Rotate the controller clockwise, problem solved.
Crim, The Red Thunder
are you referring to when i set the controller up? Or are you refering to actually turing the controller in my hands? That latter wont work, only the right stick is screwed up, the left stick works fine. not to mention the awkwardness of the buttons...
Abramul
Reassign the controls.ESC->OPTIONS->CONTROLS tab->whichever controls are effected. It reads buttons fine-I had my mouse wheel set up to switch spells, until I discovered third-person.
