SovietSailor
Now, I've been having a problem recently that has nothing to do with mods or loadorder, as I've been playing with the exact order with no problems for long before this. Basically, random creatures have begun starting to spawn in Goodsprings that have absolutely place here. I'm talking about hunting Geckos with Sunny, and suddenly getting attacked by a Deathclaw. I'm at an utter loss as to what could be causing this. I have only one "clue", but I don't even understand how this has anything to do with it. I edited the .ini to increase grids loaded (ie, the uGridstoload thing) from 5 to 7, and along with it interior and exterior cell buffers to 6 and 72, respectively. Any ideas? SovietSailor
Bump. I tried reverting my ini to use only a modified UGrids, and I haven't gotten any weird spawns yet.....
SovietSailor
After a little while of not having this problem, BAM, its starting up again. So, yeah, need help. There's Deathclaws spawning in Goodsprings.....
MarchUntoTorment
First question - What mods do you have? Give us your LO. It's possible that it's coincidence that you haven't found this yet.

SovietSailor
Bumping. Ya'll, I'm at a loss here. I'm also bumping with some more data. I've noticed that the Deathclaws that spawn have the form ID 00173f13, and Cazadores with the form ID 00173f15 and 00168baf. These correspond to the Deathclaws spawning in the quarry and the Cazadores on the north from Goodsprings. ALSO, the spawning happens when I reload a save. For example, I save a game in a spot, I reload that save, and then there's the Deathclaws/Cazadores spawning basically on top of me. I think I've also seen this happen in other locations; feral ghouls plopped right in the middle of Primm, for instance, that spawn when I leave the Bison Steve. There's definitely some sort of weird script thing going on that grabs creatures from the surrounding cells and just plops them in my location. Deleted7103646User
Goodsprings spawns 2 deathclaaws and 2 cazadors and some giant radscorps if you go to the cemetary th get the broc flower Sunny suggests, get a brocflower somewhere else and go to the cemetery when you are level 10 with good weapons and enough ammo, cause when you come back, goodsprings just aint safe anymore.. or make a mod in the geck and remove those spawnpoints so it won't happen. i guess it was a joke of the devs, they are like very funny guys over at obsidian..sick sense of humor. but you know, if you know the game real well, it can be a incredible pain in the ass, but you can get them down even at level 1 or 2.i always scavenge the entire town for everything i can find and buy energy cells for it and start my game with a laser pistol, also make sure you have the weapon repair kist from victors shack and the one just outside goodsprings at jean shack or something where the two powdergangers are, and sell everything you have for energy cells, and make sure you have some steady, then go to the cemetary when you have really sold everything you could find and made as much energy cells as possible, i always end up with like 200 cells and 100 bulk cells, then when you come back from the cemetary you walk between the saloon and chets store then the first deathclaw and two cazadors spawn, run into the trailer (caravan/camper) cause they can't get you there, then let the cazadors sting the deathclaw, it already takes care of like 20 % of the deathclaws health if you're lucky, then lure the deathclaw to come at you by briefly leaving the camper so it comes at you, dive back into the camper when he is near, then he starts to run at the nearby houses to take cover, go into the pipbot, take some steady and vats the deathclaws leg, do that over and overtill he is crippled, once he is crippled you can target his head multiple times before you have to dive back into the camper. when he is dead, walk between chets store and the hous towards the gasstation, the second deathclaw spawns together with a giant radscorp, let them fight and dive back into the camper quickly, and start the routine over again till the deathclaw is dead.after that there will only be occasional giant radscorps and some regular radscorps and coyote's spawning in goodsprings.the giant radscorp can be a pain in the ass to, but you can jump onto the big rock in fron tof chets stor and deal with the giant scorp from there. be aware that this approach will take half an hour atleast, but if you plan it right, it will work everytime.but it will take you all the ammo you can get to get them down, and you musnt squander ammo, make sure 80% of your shots hit the target otherwiseyou will run out of ammo and the last radscorp will kill you, i even had to run and pick up the settlers varmint rifles or easy pete's 357 pistol to kill the last giant radscorp. you will swear and doom the devs when you take this road, but when you succed, it will feel like a genuine victory. bben46
Actually there is something wrong with a bump - it's against the rules. Don't do that. Maybe you should actually read the rules? http://forums.nexusmods.com/index.php?app=forums&module=extras§ion=boardrulesFriendly warning - next will get you a short time out.
