dragons just not appearing

like it says dragons are just not appearing not even at word walls

i have checked the globals but according to everything i can find they should appear.

did you complete the main story quest to fight your first Dragon at Whiterun tower?

Well, I'm no expert but maybe it's an issue with Deadly Dragons? Don't get me wrong DD is a great mod but try seeing if dragons will spawn without it in there? If so you may want to check through the page for the mod, or look into some fixes listed in the Unofficial Dragonborn Patch.

 

If it doesn't work then DD is knocked off the list, but I do know there are some loose files that you might want to check for listed in the post and description section of the UDBP.

EDIT: By the way, I'm just recommending a good starting point here, there can always be quite a few factors that can cause funny things to occur in Skyrim.
