Moving Vortex out from Program Files, or new install?

Hi team,

 

I tried doing a search on the web and in this forum, but did not see an answer.

 

I am using Vortex for a few games and Collection Testing. I'd like to move Vortex out from C:/Program Files to my Gaming SSD drive, that is were I stage my mods and games. Is there a way to do it? Or can I re-install Vortex and specify my install path.

Select Custom Install. It lets you pick the location .

 

I would not worry much about the Vortex Executable. Windows says Program Files is the right location for those.

Don't forget another C: space hog. Vortex puts all your profile data and settings in AppData.

Just make sure all your games and mod staging directory are on the same gaming SSD, and you should be good to go.

Ok, sounds good. And yes, all my staging is on a separate drive. Trying to keep a dedicated Windows drive.
