Beowulf616
Ive found a little paradox about the legion guards...They are the greatest guards and soldiers of the Imperium. They are the soldiers of the Emperor and you are a good-for-nothing prisoner in the 'nick. Which makes it perfectly understandable then that the guards are 15 levels higher then you and could destroy you in a match of any sorts... Which brings me into a second partition....how is it then if the guards are 15levels higher then you, you suddenly become 'oh so fabulous' and that YOU of all good-for-nothing prisoners-who couldn't tell which part of the warhammer you're supposed to swing into someone's knockers- supposed to take down every oblivion gate which spawns out cursed soldiers of the damned and stopped inevitable doom. Why not just send a legion of guards to do it. they are 15 levels higher then you of course. So which leads me to this, why is it that guards are always so much higher then you yet you are supposed to rain death upon the avatars of the apocalypse and why is it that these guards get all this prestige, all this honour-and valour and so forth yet as soon as you get to level 15-25 the guards stop leveling, and loose the ability to actually guard what they are paid for. do they just get some sort of epiphany and just say 'oh well, *censored* that- s/he's strong enough, they can carry it on from here'. So im asking everyone here, have you noticed this? whats your opinion on it?
dezdimona
guards are just that guards. The premise is that the legions are off putting down rebellions and protecting the kingdom from outside attack.Besides if the guards did it,Oblivion wouldn't be much of a game...would it!
