Any camo idea's for the texture? The metal look's a little bland...but I'm sure you've not normal mapped it or what ever it means to have the light reflect off it.

 

Still killer work dude.....but a urban camo.....with that.....sick.

 

But I WANT IT......oh I'll send you a pic of some armour concept stuff I found online...I don't own the artwork but I'll try to get the artist's permision if you'd like to use it.

black with red eyes would be epic as well ESPECIALLY AT NIGHT. anyways tyokio i read at the beth forums that you were going to ask hal9000 to help do the rifle. did he say yes to that?

sp86: where were you when I was hunting for screen caps :O! those would have helped a ton a while back, not much I can do now its all rigged n everything. I could use them as references for future updates though because it looks like there could be potential for a different version of the armor later on. The shots you linked epescially highlight the back of this armor which I was having great difficulty finding online so thats definatly something I'll want to fix. Thanks very much for the screen caps c:

 

SaintJames420: it is normal mapped you just cant see it that well in those screen shots.

 

rkelly: I havent asked yet but I'll get right onto that.

 

Relativelybest: I'm tempted to do the opposite : D, I found it looks fantastic with a head wrap. also yeah It will be retexturable, but if you uploaded I would like some credits : D the fact that the logo is on a different texture all together means that you could change the logo to your liking. you'd just have to make it so It had an alpha layer on both the diffuse and normal maps.

 

 

Also I could compile this with the texture combinations that have allready been requested when I upload the final version of the mod.

Hey, each to his own. :smile:

 

It is an awesome armor and I love most new apparel, but to me that helmet is pure win. There's just not enough nice fully covering helmets in the game.

Oh, I was just thinking aloud in response to the texture requests. As long as you get the main job done it's all gravy.

Looking at the screenshots and my own recollection of the movie, the armor plates should be a bit darker. I would personally like a variant where there were no red markings or logos on the shoulder plate, like the generic soldiers in the pictures. That's just me though.
