Diffrent way's to open locks

To get almost any good loot in fallout you basicly need to have either a good lockpick or science skill.

I was thinking there had to be another way to open locked doors and containers while still maintaining a realistic feel.

Then i had an idea for a great mod, one that would do just that! What it would do is allow you to bash easy and very easy locks open and add charges that can be made/bought/found throughout the game.

 

I was thinking (for the sake of making it still a bit of a challange) setting levels at which you could do diffrent things. what i came up with was pretty simple to. have very easy opened by bashing 1-100 mele and easy at 25-100. similarly explosives would be 25-100 for average, 50-100 for hard and 75-100 for very hard.

 

Players could make the charges with mines/frag grenades, timers and adhesive pads

Keep in mind that just because something has already been done before doesn't mean you can't try to do it a little differently. After all, variety is the spice of life, right?

 

Don't let the fact that there's already a Mod along these lines available stop you from making your own.
