AnEpiphany
Been using Vortex for over a year. Upgraded PC and drives swapped. I completely uninstalled vortex, and all mods, and wiped app data for vortex and completed a fresh install to begin again. I am currently installing and attempting to deploy about 10 mods for Fallout NV. Attaching my log file below for reference. Getting issues deploying mods and I just used default Vortex suggestions for folder locations like I had done before. Error message states: "87 files were not correctly deployed (see log for details). The most likely reason is that files were locked by external applications so please ensure that no other application has a mod file open, then repeat deployment." Currently on Vortex Version 1.4.17Running Windows 10 version 21H2 I do not have any other applications open other than Chrome when installing and deploying these mods, also do not have file managers open. rmm200
All of your errors appear related to More Perks. If you don't install that mod - how do the rest run? It appears More Perks has rather strange packaging. You might ask on that mod topic. Almost like an install directory length limitation.
AnEpiphany
I uninstalled More Perks, and I also had to uninstall a couple more to remove all instances of the error, and then the game runs very poorly, lots of graphical glitches, now that is probably due to some other reason but it seems to run ok. I also noticed missing textures, which is weird as this is all fresh installs. Again, probably not related to this error.
AnEpiphany
Another quick update. I tried installing another mod, one I have used in the past without issue, and I got the same error but for the entire suite of 5400 files. I feel at this point that this issue is not entirely related to the mods I am using.
