max level workaround crash...

ok so a while back i dled the Max Level Workaround and i never used it until recently right before i started playing The Pitt and now even with it deselected it crashes my game do i have to start from the last save i have before i started using it or is there a way to repair the problems? if i have to start from my last save then i will lose a ton of game time... any help would be appreciated. thanks

Do you have any other mods enabled?

 

When is it crashing? When you go to the Pitt? Immediately?

 

What level is your character? What level were you before enabling the mod?

 

What's your character's karma?

 

If the mod is deselected, then it can't crash your game, because it isn't doing anything. So, obviously, something else is causing an issue. Let's find out what.

i have a ton of mods enabled but i pulled (from google), just before i made the topic, the description from the mod (it is no longer available on the site apparently) and it expressly states that it causes crashes when leveling up if you DL OA. i didn't start using it till sometime after OA (even though i had DLed the mod well before OA came out) so i didn't have a problem until recently when i started The Pitt.

 

the game crashes at the level up screen after you click the DONE button to finish the level up.

 

i am currently at lv17 and i'm unsure about my level before using the mod (though it is considerably farther back).

 

My karma is on the good side

 

i have loaded really old saves (that i know for sure the mod didn't effect) with all mods but the "max level workaround" mod and found that those level up fine. any save from recent that levels up while The Pitt is loaded (even if the max level mod isn't) it crashes. the creator mentions in the deleted mod description(http://www.fallout3nexus.com/downloads/file/description.php?id=121) that it conflicts with the DLC but because i loaded it after i already played through OA i think it didn't bug out till i played the Pitt and leveled up. i think it must be a save data conflict because even after i turn off the mod the crashes still happen. i still don't understand the Geck and how it works let alone making my own mod to reset the errors.
