Simonz93
I really love the big mods that Dark Souls 3 has, such as Cinders, The Convergence etc, not to mention all the smaller mods that really improve my enjoyment of the game such as ultrawide support etc. But it's really awful to see that ER has implemented EAC, which not only tanks FPS in many other games, but also completely prevents modding. I'm wondering if it will be possible to bypass EAC's restrictions and allow modders to eventually make mods like ultrawide fixes and more complex mods. pyide
It is possible to bypass EAC with various methods, I can hunt them down and post them if you want. After launching the game using one of those methods, it warns you about tampering / suspicious activity and will not allow you to play online. So mods will be possible offline, but doing so may still result in a ban if you go online later. It's all up in the air at this point. I've played some offline with EAC disabled, and the frame drops and stutters are still there, can't blame performance on that alone. Poor optimization in general.
