Mod Request - Clear water

I am not sure this is the right place to ask for new mods, but I have seen other requests so I will try here.

There was a mod quite a while ago that made the water very limpid. Right now it is very nurky, even though I use all the mods that should make the water more clear.

Would it be possible to eliminate the murkiness completely? Not at the "fog" command level, but nice, clear water.

Thank you in advance for any reply, and if someone can explain to me how to do this without using a mod I'd be doubly grateful.
