Metro-style weapons (particularly Metro Exodus)

I would really love to see mods that add Metro-style, cobbled together weapons. The Bastard gun immediately springs to mind, as do the weapons and their various modification options from Metro Exodus. Ideally, this idea would be picked up by one of the more skilled mod authors on the Nexus, with experience making high-quality mods. They would also ideally be able to get permission to use assets ripped directly from the files of Metro Exodus. However, I would be fine with purpose-made assets provided that they look good and reach at least a certain level of quality, as I understand that obtaining permission to use assets from other games is never a sure thing, and I imagine that the process can also be difficult at times.
