why if i copy and paste into description its all in one line

I put up a video tried to copy and paste into description and looked a mess. the whole thing was compacted to one line, any suggestions to avoid that

yes, I have copy and pasted lines of text for my mod pages and they all go into one big line of text with a black boxed background. I never found a work around so I make sure i dont copy and paste any more. So your not alone. Sorry I cant help.
