Here's some more input for ya :P

The parking lot you're interested in makes a V (or looks like it). IE 2 sides of it are covered with buildings, and the last side is open.

You could have that open side have either shacks (houses) with a circular wall of rubble for defense OR have no houses and just have a straight wall thing. Have the bridge over the river fortified and the only safe way into the camp/bazaar/town. The building you're interested in could be a Nuka plant? Or maybe have that intersection the only other part of the town left standing (minus the bazaar).

Quest-wise:

You could either:

A) Take out raiders for bazaar for good. Get great prices and rare items, as well as free places to sleep (and a LOT of good karma)

B) Help the bazaar but never completely defeat the raiders, using the attacks as a means to get discounts and money.

C) Help the raiders and get everything currently in the bazaar (with a lot of bad karma)

D) Help the raiders but never take the bazaar, using the attacks as a means to get money and loot from the bazaar as well as companion slaves (?) and safety from the raiders (and bad karma)

E) Save merchants or caravans from raider bases or picking the merchants off and selling them to the raiders as repeatable quests.

F) Drive competition in the bazaar by picking off rival businesses (for a merchant) with bad karma and better prices at said merchant.

G) Run your own business? Maybe have people walk up to you when you're near your stall and ask for things. If you have em, you can sell em for caps or items, and if you don't have it, you could find it and come back (repeatable quests).

Well in real life that building isnt too big, I just thought the image of Nuka Cola would be so epic to see as you enter the city, plus all the residents of this town would find it funny lol

And the quest wise sounds great so far, once I start geting people willing to help if I do find people, I think the quest could grow based on how much we can accomplish. Like for instance, depending how much of Stamford is mapped out could make a larger playing feild, Stamford holds large banks, train systems, colleges, all sorts of fun to play in places

If the sides of the river were steep enough it could make a natural barrier, letting you make the bridge the only way in... I'm guessing like Big Town, but maybe have a moat or something connected to the river?

Well to get to the part with the Nuka Cola thing, you can take the large street which is what I have set up

But to get into the Bazzar you need to cross that bridge 20 ft deep, the river itself is only around a foot deep but there is a strong current and rocks, plus add in the radiation it would be uncrossable anywhere else except the bridge. So based on that I would say put a 1000 rads a sec or 500 rAS.

Well that's a little extreme... You could just have a path leading out; if you can make it back along the river and take the fall you should be able to get out onto the far side. That way anyone that falls off the side by accident isn't auto-killed.

I could put rocks in front of where the river meets the other side of the bridge, that way you can't climb out to land, only back to the other side,

However, if you look at the river, you will notice there is trees and etc on both sides, in the city, there are buildings there in the way, so no matter what, if you fell in the river you wouldnt be able to get back out
