Ok so as i read the story properly it appears as though vivic and 2 other false gods, recruited the origional neverine( spelling???) and after dagoth was killed...( or semi killed) vivic killed the origional nerevar( spelling???). So how am i supposed to play.

1.Get the wraithguard and learn how to use it then kill vivic....=message saying i messed the game up

2.before getting wraithguard kill vivic and have the last dwarf help me

3.leave vivic be, as he explains, after i kill dagoth ur, i may return to let vivic explain...

so what im asking is, is vivic as bad a guy as i am to believe, did he in fact murder the nerevar and claim god stance with the ppl?

whats with the story, i would like to know before i finish what i am doing i have been playing for months and do not want to redo all of this

plz help explain...

well, I did kill the good man after I finished the main quest. and it did not make any difference to the game at all, since nobody belives that he is dead and call ya a nut for the claim....! As long as I kept my mouth shut no mention ot his death was made nor did the game change any!

My poinion, ...it's up to the player what you do! But try it for yourself...thats what makes the game so much fun! :P

It will not affect the end of the game or the official plug-ins whichever you choose to do. Killing him early on and taking the back route to get the equipment to finish off Dagoth Ur means you can skip the whole main quest. Alternatively you can do the back route immediately before killing DU on the main quest. (It gets you an extra quest in the journal if you like counting but that's about all.)

If you like cheating you can beat the game in less than an hour by this means. Only reason for doing so would be to play a mod that requires you to have completed the main quest or to prove you are a (hmm - mustn't use that word here).

Mind you I always find it odd that you can kill him before completing the main quest. Before DU is dead he is supposed to be a God and therefore immortal. Only in killing DU does he lose his godhead.

If immortals can be killed then they ain't immortal - right?

ok, so the actuall killing of vivic means nothing in the game

..... thats kinda gay

and acording to the book vivic is the mortal form of lord vivic

so i don't know rather or not he is the actual one

second it says that he has thousands of health magika and fatigue points

so killing him is an option

i just cant see where or in what quest

as i dont want to kill him if he is telling the truth and in fact did not kill the origional nerevar

and the other question, did vivic actually murder the origional nerevar?

yea... i think there is one major hole in this game sourounding the "Gods" and houses

as i have played on into the game and read the 4 notes in vivic's chamber

it appears as nerevar and his #1 Dagoth wanted the weapons destroyed (IE:LOTR)

and the council wanted them to be used for study in case the dwarves ever returned well when nerevar returned under orders to retreive the 2 weapons dagoth would not return them

lord azura made all the chillen's turn to dark elves giving them ash skin and fire eyes damning them for going against the real GOD in the game azura and forming 3 new ones

......

hmm, so i dont know about the murder or death of the nerevar

i know for a fact that vivic and the other 2 new gods are bad for going against azura

i don't know if dagoth is bad or not, he was following the wishes of nerevar

and may be right about not using the weapons (if so wouldnt dagoth have them himself)

the current houses telvani, redoran, and hlaalu dont seem to know or care about nereverine's and for that fact much anything else other than there own glory

hmmm, this game leaves much to be desired. I wonder if the fourth one will fill you in more

and if the tribunal and bloodmoon expansions will either :(

so should i just blindly kill dagoth, allow vivic to run free, and totally screw over azura

yea..... i'm not gonna do that

If you complete the main quest as Vivec suggests, the three 'false' Gods become mortal and will therefore presumably die of natural causes in time. Azura is pleased with you for destroying Dagoth Ur and 'implies' that it would not be wrong to rid the world of all three false gods more quickly.

However first play Trib to its conclusion and then decide.
