Alexalmo
Well, I'm not sure how common this issue is, and it probably has more to do with my graphics card than anything else, but yeah. As the title suggests, I get CTD whenever entering an area with lots of enemies (doesn't happen that often when going through a city full with friendly NPC's). Specially in mod mission areas like those from New California, and recently, in Russell's mission when you go into a tunnel with lots of ghouls. It's annoying, as there is no way of going through those, and is pretty much game breaking. I could avoid such mods, yeah, but I' afraid this happens anyway in vanilla missions where I get surrounded by lots of enemies (final Hoover Dam battle, for example). Thing is, I got a new PC, and I used to play FONV in an older laptop with way worse hardware. I don't know how I managed to play the full Fallout New California mod with all those huge battle scenes, and my new PC crashes. I think when I was playing in the older laptop, I got all kind of optimizing mods, and somehow avoided crashes just like that, but I don't know. Do you know some specific way to avoid this problem? Lowering the graphics didn't do any change so far, and I have installed NV Anti Crash and all the basics, but I think I'm just missing something I didn't miss back then.
