DMorgado
Heya there folks. I do modelling work for a while, but I'm finding the matter about Fallout modding kinda confusing. Would you kindly answer some questions? 1. From what I gather, FO uses the same set of bones for every human character. If I resize the human bones in 3dsMax to better fit a particular model, will they still animate in Fallout, or would I have to create a complete new set of animations? 2. I've tried importing the bones from Nif to Max, but each time I try to import any .nif file to Max an error says that the specific file doesn't exist... anyone else had this issue? 3. I've read mentioned somewhere that FO uses several types of default bodies. Could someone please explain this to me in more detail? 4. If I do a 2 or 3 different body templates, both female and male (muscular, skinny, etc) in order to use them in the future to fit the existing game armour, how can one then define which NPCs use body X or Y? 5. I've found a bone structure for download here on Nexus, what's the difference between this one and Fallouts? (Haven't managed to take a look at them due to problem in Q no2.) Thanks for your time :)
SpeedyB64
Max has trouble with the directory it looks for the skeleton. I had the same issue. It mixes up the path so you need to correct it.
