Question: How create different Copys of my Character

Hi,

 

is there a way to create a copy of my Character, change appearance of original and after this i have 2 different Characters?

 

I have try:

player.place at me 7 (copy myself)

showracemenu (change appearance)

 

After load saved games mostly the copy will look at original and i have 2 Characters with same Face.

 

What i can do?

Can someone help me here?

Save your character twice, once with a new save and once without. Then load one of them and in the console type showracemenu, edit said character name him/her what you will and save over the save you loaded. Then load the other save, again showracemenu and edit character how you will, again name him/her what you will...and save over the save you just loaded. You should then have two different charcters with two different names, with the same stats in the same place. Hope this is the answer you were looking for.

Edit: hmm i must load 2 times saves every day /every gamestart.

After new gamestart i have same problems with all saves. i load first save -> copys have same faces like original.

Someone know a other/easier way to copy own characters who save her face if i create new with original?

this all look very buggy at the moment.

by the way, after minimize/maxi sometimes charactercopys change too

If you are trying to play with 2 player characters at the same time, it will not work - the game engine does not allow more then one player character. This is not something that can be changed at the current time. Just renaming and making a new face for the character will mean that you still have only one player character, just with a different name and face, but still the same game.

 

There are programs that allow multiple character profiles - that is you can have different characters and a different set of mods and saves for each one. But still, only one player character per game. Each Player character will have to start from the beginning. Here is one: http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/10345/?

I have never tried this one so cannot comment on how easy it is to use or how well it works - check the posts on the mod for more info on that.

I agree with this guy, I tought you were asking about two different character saves...because my method alows you to copy your character to two different saves and have two new characters. You can't load more than one character or play as more the one at any given time...I doubt anybody could even make a mod to do this.

I'm gonna have to correct you there. You CAN in fact have multiplayer in skyrim. Google for "Skyrim Online" It's been around for a while now.
