Getting a load order list from OBMM

Of course you have to be running OBMM first to do this.

On the right, click on the box that says Import/Export

Select the top entry on the drop down list, View Load Order

Your load order will be displayed. Note that any inactive mods will not show in the list.

On the top left, click in the disk icon – a save box will pop up.

First you need to tell it where to save your list – the desktop is a good place and easy to find.

Next, go down to the second block at the bottom to select the save as type:

Pick Plain Text (*.Txt)

Now, in the File name block type in a name, such as Load List-1

Copy and paste the load order directly into to your post.

If you want to keep a copy for your own use, make a text file and past the same list into it.

Then 'save as' and give it a name that you will remember, such as Load list-1.txt

:thanks: BUT! I tried to install FCOM (which was not very smart of me) I got fed up because it was very hard! And uninstalled Oblivion. Now I am reinstalling it. And what is "OBBM"?

You mean OBMM, it is Oblivion Mod Manager, a useful tool for mod users so they can play load order tetris in an attempt to get mods to work correctly. =D

You can download it here.

You can try manually doing the pilgrimage in console. I think this does it:

setstage NDPilgrim 11

setstage NDPilgrim 12

setstage NDPilgrim 13

setstage NDPilgrim 14

setstage NDPilgrim 15

setstage NDPilgrim 16

setstage NDPilgrim 17

setstage NDPilgrim 18

setstage NDPilgrim 19

pray at an altar. If that doesn't trigger it proceed with:

setstage NDPilgrim 20

And this one should finally make the vision appear. Technically this is the only one you really need, but you can at least use the others to trigger each particular praying at the altars.

If you want to use any except the most basic mods that add a simple sword or something you need OBMM and OBSE as well as the latest patch.

OBMM = Oblivion Mod Manager: http://timeslip.chorrol.com/obmm.html

OBSE = Oblivion Script extender, allows mods to do things that Bethsoft never thought could be done in the game. Required for many mods. http://obse.silverlock.org/

Official patch, required for many mods. Be sure to use the one for your language version.

The uninstall procedure on the disk does not remove everything, so if you problem is caused by a mod it will still be there. My procedure allows you to save everything, mods and saves. And leaves you with a clean install plus a backup clean install, plus all of your original mods and saves in a backup folder (your choice to put them back into your game or not)

My reinstall Procedure - be sure to read it all the way through before starting.
