cant give items to follower Inigo

While asking to trade with Inigo i can see his inventory but once i switch to mine to give him my items all i see is roughspun tunic and boots, ive cleaned his file with the quick clean in TES5edit and disabled UFO but i still get this error. im not new to modding but i do it super messy so its likely on me, trying to improve at it.

I had a similar issue when I was bored once I used AFT on him and it messed his AI up. I think I removed AFT, restarted the game, saved it again, Then restarted and did the resetai command on him. then he started working. Then you can reactivate AFT. Make sure you make a copy of your save before you reset him in case it messes him up quest wise. Its been a while so I cant remember.
