IsharaMeradin
What is the connection to the monitor? My monitor has both HDMI & PC connections. When connected as PC, Skyrim can detect the correct resolution(s) and display the game just fine as full screen. When connected as HDMI, none of the available resolutions display Windows correctly and a custom resolution identical to the PC native resolution has to be set. Skyrim cannot detect this custom resolution. To work in HDMI mode I had to play in windowed mode and use a borderless windows tool to run Skyrim at a fake full screen. Might be worth a shot to try it in windowed mode with a borderless windows tool. There are some dedicated to working specifically with Skyrim in the utilities section. Moraelin
Not sure, maybe it doesn't support the aspect ratio? I'm using 2560x1600 and that one works just fine.

7teff
Hey, I'm struggling to fix this issue as well, and finally got the resolution right, I think, but the Sky UI is out of proportion and doesn't fit the screen. The bottom bar is gone entirely. Any ideas how I can resize it?
7teff
actually, now it seems that even though in skyrimpref iSizeH and W are 2560 and 1080, ingame, the resolution seems to be bigger than that. Any other values that need changing in the prefs file to make it fit?
Klub007
TruBy9 UltraWide mod http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/84627/? took care of being able to utilize 2560 x 1080 resolution for me... see the Menus in character generation and in game. However, Frostfall and RaceMenu are conflicting at the moment. working on resolving that issue. These two mods work fine if I change the resolution back to 1920x. will advise.
