menandore Posted September 18, 2013 Share Posted September 18, 2013 After I completed the DB questline, I was all set to go on my murder spree for the Night Mother, but talking to the Corrupt Official and then killing the Big Farmhand or whatever was so incredibly jarring that I didn't even bother with any more DB quests. It would be amazing if random names could be assigned to the requester and target. Anyone know if this is feasible, or have interest in implementing it? McclaudEagle Posted September 18, 2013 Share Posted September 18, 2013 I doubt this would be possible because it would require unique NPCs to be created, which naturally will be limited to how many the modder creates. This is the reason why guards, which respawn, do not have names, the game would eventually run out of unique named NPCs and you'd start seeing the same named guards constantly respawning. I was hoping there would be some way to hook in a script that renames the requester and target NPCs on creation, but if there isn't, I see why it wouldn't be feasible. Thanks for letting me know!
