Mitsurati
I'd like to see a mod that allows the player to request mundane items. Once you get to the point where you're building and decorating houses, you've gotten beyond the edge-of-your-seat thrill of braining a goat, but if you want your house to have lights, you need a butt-ton of goat horns. It would be nice if, rather than embarking on a capricidal rampage, I could go to a steward or housecarl and ask them to scrounge for 20 goat horns. Of course, there has to be a cost associated with this convenience. The player puts down a deposit up front, and then some amount of time passes, depending on rarity, distance, quantity requested, etc. Once the NPC has scrounged the requested items, they find the player again and offer the items for sale. So the player will end up paying quite a bit more to have someone else go wander the hills attacking local fauna with a battle-axe. I could see merit in including mundane items that may be used to check off side quests, such as, say, nirnroot or bear pelts, but only if the cost is more than the reward. No unique items like Berenziah stones or pieces of Mehrunes Razor. Suggested:Thieves guild members can scrounge for non-enchanted jewelry and divine amulets (acquired items may or may not be marked as stolen)Hunters can scrounge for animal partsShopkeepers can scrounge for any items that they normally sell Scroungeable items would include non-dragon animal parts (eyes, teeth, horns/antlers, pelts, fish scales), ore, ingots, non-enchanted rings/necklaces/circlets, divine amulets, non-enchanted armor, non-enchanted weapons, plants, food items, salts, glass, straw, clay.
