goranpaa
Hi! As said. I have tried probably all the world map mods there is but no cigar. It's just the original map that shows up.I have used all availiable installation methods there is. And I have the latest OBSE and the required patches + the unofficial ones for both Oblivion itself and Shivering Islands. The map mod is showing up in the launcher data + in Wrye Bash. I have used Boss too to fix this but did'nt help at all. Even tried Tes4Edit. So now I'm at a dead end. Please help! Jeven
OBMM has an option called Archive Invalidation. That allows loose files like the replacement map to override the default one in the .bsa. Its not usually an issue if you have the CD version of Oblivion because the bsa files are dated 2006 and anything with a later date takes priority. But I think things like Steam gives the Oblivion bsa's the current date which means mod files with older dates won't override them.
bben46
What version of Oblivion? What DLCs? Are any other mods working? Do you use NMM? OBMM? Do the mods require OBSE? If so are you launchng the game using OBSE?

If so are you launchng the game using OBSE? Hi bbn46! It's 1.2.0416 GOTY. All the other 62 mods are working well. I Use OBMM. And yes, some of the map mods I have tried require (d) OBSE. I did read that you only need to launch the game via OBSE once and then you could use the Oblivion shortcut. But I just started the game via OBSE after reading your post, and 2 things happend then. By the way, I'm running the dynamic map mod by TheNiceOne for the moment. Installed both trying to use OBMM and then a manual installation. The 2 things that happend as said, whas that all the map markers where in a bundle in the middle of the map. After I used the console command "tmm 0" The map looks like this ( see picture below ). And can't be scrolled or moved in any way. I have the mod MenuQue installed as this Dynamic map is said to require it. Edit. I did disable any other mod that could eventually have any impact on the world map before trying what you suggested via OBSE. http://i292.photobucket.com/albums/mm17/goranpaa/OblivionMaperror_zps301378ff.jpg Edited September 19, 2013 by goranpaa
goranpaa
Well, finally I got the Elven map redux to work as it should. So I settle for it. The dynamic map whas a no go for me unfortunatly. Would have loved to be able to use the option to zoom in and out of the map. ( Really can't understand why this option whas'nt included in the original game? ) Had to uninstall MenuQue to get the elven map to work. This map is at least nicer to look at compaired to the dull original. Edited September 19, 2013 by goranpaa
