SovietSailor Posted September 19, 2013 Share Posted September 19, 2013 So, I've been modifying warriorpoetx's excellent Primm Reborn mod to suit my personal tastes. Among other things, I've been attempting to make the npcs in the Primm Saloon to wander around Primm and access the new houses, but I don't know the first thing about doing so; my attempts so far have consisted mostly of copying script and AI package info over from the vanilla NPCS in the Vikki and Vance Casino (clearly, I'm not good at this). ToxicWhiteout Posted September 20, 2013 Share Posted September 20, 2013 Just increase the wander distance and make sure the "stay in cell" (or whatever it says) box is unchecked so they can wander into other cells, and take the packages from the Primm Residents. They go in and outside of their homes. Packages can be a bit tricky, but you can actually set it so that they'll go different places at different times. For example, you can make it so the residents go inside their houses at certain times, and come back out at others. SovietSailor Posted October 10, 2013 Author Share Posted October 10, 2013 OK, so I'm bumping this due to some patterns I've been noticing in my attempts. Alright, so I've copied and pasted all of the relevent Primm resident information into the Primm saloon patrons. I enter the saloon after I give Primm a deputy, and three of the NPCS walk out the door, like normal. HOWEVER, when I follow them out the door, there are only two of them walking about; one of them had completely vanished. So, I reload my save (the game is still running) and try it again. I enter the saloon, and this time none of the NPCs move, as if I hadn't modified their data at all. Any ideas on how to fix this? Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I think I've narrowed it down to the use of vanilla NPC sandbox packages (somehow). So I made a rudimentary package for them, but it still happens. I've gotten them to wander around outside their houses, but I can't get them to walk around the rest of Primm.
