Fallout 2142

ok im shure i aint the only person who enjoys the super battlefeild 2142 & a game of fallout 3 so i thought of a brillant idea for someone or rather some group to make a brillant & well loved map\mod\quest :)

 

for those who dont play battlefeild 2142 or know what it is but never have. its an online shooter where 16\32\64 players get split into 2 teams the eu & pac. then the 2 teams battle it out over captureing flags & trying to destroy each other's titans "big flying fortresses". the maps are a basic & buildings are unenterable as well as when the map loads there is a small description of when & why the battle on said map took place?. now this is where a mod or group of mods come into haveing a fantastic base to build on.

 

theres no ending to bf2142 "ie: final fight to see who won the war" so this is where the story for the Fallout 2142 mod will come from. & where things can start of small & then get built upon there is no less than 7 maps playable in bf2142. now in a fallout3 point of veiw & im shure all the bf2142'ers out there will agree. the 1 map that would make an fantastic adition to the fallout universe is camp gibralter.

basicly you need to come out off the water & then take over a well fortified base. this could be where a new faction comes into play or just a heavy raider base or new freindly town?.

as you can also see from the map there are plenty of buildings to do stuff with & it being an old military camp there is also the added dimention of addind underground bunkers "the options are endless" includeing compleating the quest & finding an arsonel of new wepons, armour, even veichles?.

 

also like every game out from bf2 to warhamer to dead space. thay all have there own wepons & so dose bf2142. 4 soldier classes. medic, engineir, support, sniper. all with there own specific wepons.

 

list of things that could be added:

 

1) new faction or base inhabitents.

 

2) wepons\armour.

B2142 player here! I even had a clan... oh the memories.

 

This goes to the list of total conversions that'd need a shitload of work, but maybe less than the others. Representing a battlefield is easier than a live town, and for BF2142 there was not much variation in a same map. It could be started in desert maps like Gibraltar, Shubia Tabia or Suez Canal, where the setting is more similar to what we have in FO3.

 

It would be definitely interesting, but I hardly see it.
