After Level 20 issues..

I've beaten the game a few times through, and so now I just like to mess around by using the cheats inside the game, as well as a few mods here or there. I recently updated Fallout 3 for the new DLC The Pitt, so I am at V1.4. However, it seems like after I downloaded this patch, my game starts to crash if I try to apply the perks after any level past 20.

 

Started a fresh new game recently, so my character just gets out of the vault, I use the code to set the Max Level up to 100, and then add experience to get a bunch of levels in. However, while doing this, I have a mod that allows me to have access too all of the perks after levels One and Two. I can use any of the perks, Quest ones, ones that require you to be level 20, whatever just fine. The problem comes when I try to pick a perk for level 21. It crashes once I've picked the next perk. I've tried a few different perks, making sure that something's not wrong with just picking a perk that the game really doesn't want me to have, and it seems like all of them are affected.

 

Am I going to need to switch back to the last update and stop playing the DLC for a while?

 

Fallout 3 website's forums are apparently slow atm, so I'm posting this here as well. Hopefully you guys can help me out. I'll be checking back every so often tonight, so if you need any extra info, just let me know. I'll be glad to help you help me!

If your character is evil, you'll crash at level 21. This has been the case since the game was released.

 

I've got a workaround here.

Thank you very much for the reply. I think I'll just add some good karma to my character. I like showing off my level 100 character on XBL. ;]
