Distance view question with Frostcrag Reborn

Hello,

I am not sure if this is related to Frostrcrag Reborn or some other issue/mod/setting but it seems like a piece of one of the towers does not become visible until I am pretty close to it. The rest of the towers/structures look normal and the tower is viewable from a distance.

The first screenshot shows the meshes/textures (not sure) missing. The second shows how they appear when I get closer. I was checking this out using tcl from the console.

Any ideas? I ran TES4LODGen but that doesn't seem to have any affect o this up close issue.

Hmm. Ran tes4ll but it didn't resolve the issue. It's weird that something so close doesn't get rendered.

Tes4ll won't help in this case. It deals only with landscape LOD. You were on the right track the first time with Tes4LODGen, that deals with architecture. What's happening is that you have no _far.nif installed for that particular piece of architecture. TES4LODGen creates the LOD but needs a _far.nif to read in order to create that distant view. If that piece of architecture is a vanilla item, RAEVWD will have the _far.nif you need. Just install RAEVWD, at least the portions you want anyway, and run TES4LODGen again. If it is a custom piece from a mod, and the author has not included a _far.nif, you will need to create one from scratch, ensure it is installed in the same folder, and then run TES4LODGen again.

Without a _far.nif in place, any given piece of architecture will not show up in distant view, but will instead "pop" into view once you get close enough for the game to render it.
