i had honestly never heard of the game, had to google it to get an idea of what it was about. Seems like an awesome game and great graphics from the screenies i saw. As far as comparing the combat reality standard, i can't really say. Combat itself in real life never looked all that awesome when your in the middle of it though seeing taped footage of the same battle afterwards makes you feel pretty excited. I haven't studied the reviews long enough to judge the tactical side of it and when it comes to a great military game it's all about the variety in tactics. It looks like a good portrayal of simulated combat from what i've seen in the pics, wish i knew more bout the game.seems cool.

Please stop with the flaming, flame-baiting, and personal attacks. If you can't be civil you will be asked to leave, or given a time out. UK47's post was removed. Enough is enough.

I will say this once.....if you have nothing to contribute to this discussion and insult/offend those who are serving their country or those who have served.

I will not only remove your post, but I will also end your tenure on this family of sites.

This is not a threat it is a simple statement of fact. Enough of trolling and flame bating on this forum it will not be tolerated.

That mentality only results in both people being blind, along with anyone else who happens to be in plucking distance. I don't care who started it, who said what, it stops here and now. You're both better than this.

Your two follow-up posts have been deleted. I suggest you drop it and move on before something happens that we both regret. If you want to discuss the matter with staff, PMs are suggested.

Me and Uk47 had a debate that crossed into borderline flame wars. sorry bout that, but we came to a silent agree to disagree and ended it at that. i understand if you guys recently came across the comments said that have no place on the forums but they were said a while back and i considered it long over. You don't have to worry bout me and UK getting out of hand (against each other anyways) again. My bad for not going silent when i should've.

It's not about what was said previously, let's leave that good and buried for everyone's sake, it was what was attempted to be started up again. As the discussion became a matter of something both of you believe in strongly, it's only natural for conflict to arise. Apparently it wasn't a lasting understanding, hopefully it has been settled in some way, and we'll leave it at that.

Political opinions aside,

I would serve the Marines. First in, Last out. I have a friend that completed a tour in Iraq (I can't remember his rank/unit). He was in the army and always spoke highly of the marines. He would say stuff like "but the army is bad*ss too, you know). I also knew a 'Nam vet (a real one, not one of those a-holes that make up stories). He was a forced recon marine and is one of the baddest 60 year olds I know.

So is a Corpsman just another name for Medic or is Medic one of the things you can do as a corpsman. And also, how soon will I be able to switch to Diver? I'd go in as Diver but you can't go Diver until you pass the additional exams in boot camp.

I'm just really hoping to go to Asia, not to the Middle East.

Does anyone know where I can find some info on the Navy Dolphin training program?
