brokendeck
I'm looking for someone to add some collision geometry to a couple of wall and doorframe .nifs, as I am unable to do it myself at this time, lacking 3DsMax. If you are expierienced with collision geometry, and have some spare time, please reply to this by PMing me, I may check back at this thread, but I will mostly be inside Creation kit. :P Hope to hear from someone, Thank-you in advance. Tamira
NifUtils - ChunkMerge is what you need :) http://niftools.sourceforge.net/forum/viewtopic.php?f=38&t=4128 Use your nif as resource model in the input folder and ChunkMerge will add a (static) collison to it in the output folder
brokendeck
:OThis looks interesting! You have Skype? I might need a little bit of hands on training via screen share lol
Tamira
Sorry, I don't have Skype and English is not my native language. You may look into this tutorial (part 2) and gain some knowledge from it. It refers to an older version but all main aspects are the same.http://tesalliance.org/forums/index.php?/topic/5541-3d-craftworks-from-blender-to-skyrim/&do=findComment&comment=83868
brokendeck
This set of utilities does not appear to be working correctly Edited September 22, 2013 by brokendeck
Tamira
I (and others) use this set of utilities for almost 1 year now and it works fine! What format is your nif ? Skyrim, Fallout, Oblivion or whatever? Send me an example nif per PM and I'll have a look at it.
brokendeck
Skyrim. What am I supposed to use as a template?THat might be the problem I am running into. I trued using a different template, but the resulting file had no collision data.I can't use the one that it says in teh tutorial because it's part of what causes the crash. I am Using Windows 7 64 bit? Do I have to use my Windows XP system in order for this thing to work. Perhpas the programmers of this utility did not anticipate compatibility with 64 bit operating systems.
Tamira
I am Using Windows 7 64 bit too, no problems. And I am using the same template as shown in the tutorial. I only can repeat my offer to send me an example.
brokendeck
I would be more than happy to send you my .nif file, but it won't let me attach .nif files in PMs. This is why I prefer using Skype.
Tamira
It think it will be easy to zip it. Isn't *.zip allowed?
