Experienced Modders help needed

I want to build a mod, and animation, but I have NO experience with building mods or animations. I don't know how to do anything, I don't even know where to begin. I Need help. what I want to do is build a shoulder holster for pistols, revolvers and SMGs for New Vegas. And I want an animation to match, so when the weapons holstered, it sits in the sling under the arm, like it would in a real life situation. Also, My character is a wanderer, so he wears a back pack and a satchel, I'd like for it to not cancel out the back pack or his satchel. I don't know if that's something that's possible or not. If anyone is familiar with the Flashlight NVSE mod, then you'll know what I mean when I say I want it to fit like the tactical harness. which basically is what I'm looking for. just add a holster, and an animation to that and you'll have it.

Yeah, we all got what you want and that your spamming all the forums to get it done. You have been given the tools and tutorials to start learning, I think you need to consider sticking with the one forum that you want.

Is this a WIP you plan to do, is this a Request you want someone else to do, or are you looking for general information about this kind of stuff.

You have to take it slow, your trying to run a marathon before you know how to even walk. Your best bet is to:

1. Figure out how to load a armor mesh in blender.

2. Move stuff around (even randomly) to make the armor look different or even odd.

3. Learn how to get the armor exported right.

4. Get the armor in game.

Once you have that down, you can start to try to actually change the shape of stuff to something you actually want. Start to learn how to rig stuff, start understanding the skeleton. Then finally move into learning to animate. I dont think you can skip learning the basics and jump right into animation before you know anything else.

It's no big deal. it was just an idea I had. I never really had high hopes for it to take off. I cant figure blender out. like I said, I've watched youtube tutorials and read through the material you provided on my first post, for hours upon hours. I stayed up all night last night trying to figure out how to upload a damn male mesh so I could play with it and get use to the controls. and I couldn't even do that. so I give up. im over it. Thank you for your help and words of advice.
