ChalkLine
Bevors, the plate protection for the lower face and neck when wearing an open faced helmet, aren't usually modelled. I've tried my hand at 3D modelling, and frankly, I suck (which is annoying, because I can use AutoCAD). So I can't do it myself. I was wondering if someone could model a bevor for me to go with Ghogiel's sallet. I was thinking a bevor would perfectly fit with the amulet slot, as bevor's do not move when you move your head. Here's some images of a bevor for examples; http://www.myarmoury.com/talk/download.php?id=8020 http://www.myarmoury.com/talk/download.php?id=8019 Note the area under the chin and the complex curves. Many modern reproductions have the bevor simply curving up from the chest, which isn't correct (although a specialised Spanish bevor, the Barbotte, later did have this shape but it was only worn with a specialised Morion). AzirAphale001
I think the links to MyArmory are broken. I'm not much of a modeler, so this is beyond me.
ChalkLine
I'll see if I can get better images; http://therionarms.com/reenact/therionarms_c1090c.jpg http://lh5.ggpht.com/_hVOW2U7K4-M/SZU6BvwJ_fI/AAAAAAAA6AA/Cdm9wLUSUD4/s640/562799ec2a131b49428de4bd1fc3189a_full.jpg
