acidicwyrm
I have recently just bought the game and modded it with the help from Gopher's Modding Fallout NV Tutorial and Mod Clinic, i have learned a whole lot thanks to him. But sadly, i came across another problem that needs fixed. After installing NVSE, 4gb Loader and GameCompanion (since proposed as an alternative and fix for FakeFullscreen), it let me run the game in this 'fakefullscreen' but i have seen almost always (99% of the time) my screen get cropped at the top (missing more or less 1 CM up there) and having a black empty bar below about the same size with what's cropped on top. Just like if the whole screen was forced up there for some reason. I have seen a solution to resize my resolution to 1360x768 (720p widescreen), using manual edit of the "iSize W" and "iSize H" lines, since my resolution wasn't supported in windowed mode normally, no idea if that could have affected the 'sliding screen effect'. Can anyone help me fix that please ?
acidicwyrm
Found an issue out of trial and error process and some luck. Here is the solution just in case it might be useful in the future : With GameCompanion, i launched the game using the FFMode option "Type2", then while the game was still on, i switched for "Type1 (Recommended)" and it seemed to have fixed my issue somehow *scratches head* Cheers ! Edit : It seems to be working fine afterwards, using Type1 right away at launch Edited September 24, 2013 by acidicwyrm
