RogueSoldat
Greetings, I'm trying to gather a small team to work on a miniature campaign/ faction mod. My aim is to keep releasing the mod in spirals, so each update adds a new mission, therefore everyone gets to try, and those that worked on the mod itself will get a sense of accomplishment. I'm also reframing from using outside textures, models, and wish to use stock objects from the normal game until the final version. Since I'm a big novice (or n00b), any type of help, mentor or otherwise would be useful. Also, if another newbie wishes to join me, that's fine. This will make for a great learning experience. The Project itself: http://img17.imageshack.us/img17/782/postertiv.jpg ---------------------------------------------- Campaign Teaser Synopsis: -The Great War 2077. As the bombs drop, the world explodes into flames and countries disappear forever into history. A lone tactical carrier submarine makes a desperate dive to the bottom of the ocean off the east coast of the United States. It's nature not of American origin, it's mission unknown. -Two Hundred Years Later. After a deep cryogenic slumber, the Type-109 'Yue Fei' of the Chinese People's Liberation Army Naval Forces surfaces. The ship was designed to withstand the coming Armageddon when it was created, and is the first and last of its design class. Housing a crew of hundreds, it represents the last true remnants of the Chinese Army. With their homes lost, and futures uncertain, the PLA resolve to complete their task, squaring their shoulders for the mission ahead... -Enter Fort Sichuan: Fort Sichuan is a Chinese Outpost, located in the capital wastelands near megaton. The 8th Route Expeditionary Force has been dispatched a few months ago before the vault 101 incident. Taking what supplies were left from the commando raids nearly two centuries before, and learning whatever necessary to withstand the hellish wastelands, the 8th Expeditionary Force represents the tip of the PLA spear in post-nuclear apocalyptic Washington D.C. -Enter, you: At first glance, the Chinese are a hostile invading army. But World War III has ended a century ago? Has it not? There are no countries left for old soldiers. They have not shot you on sight. What is their task here? One of ruthless conquest? Or one of peaceful reconciliation? Is War unchangeable? Or is it natural for man to continue their mission of self-destruction? ---------------------------------------------- Beta Version: http://www.fallout3nexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=4942 Looking for:-People to help build places alongside me!-People who can help me script, or teach me how to get a mission along!-People who are willing to help me troubleshoot.-Voice Actors.-People who can edit videos All I ask is that everyone who wants in be considerate, and willing to cooperate for this learning experience of sorts =) The aim of the Mod:-Five quests, each considered an act. Unfortunantly I have little I can contribute besides bug testting and low quality voice acting :(
