Unholdamarok Posted April 1, 2009 Share Posted April 1, 2009 I just added Deadly Reflex 5.0 to my mods, but when i try an play, it kicks me off the game and gives me an error... everything works fine when Deadly reflex is turned off... i even re installed with all of the files cleared and started all over but it does the same thing... the newest Deadly reflex look awesome and i want to play around with it... could someone help me out here? :thanks: Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

One thing I can tell you is Deadly Reflex must load at the very end of your load order, even after a Bashed Patch if you have one. If your game won't start at all make sure you have the HorseCombatMaster ESM installed as well. Horse combat is not implemented in DR 5 but the ESM is still required. Maigrets Posted April 1, 2009 Share Posted April 1, 2009 If it's the only mod you have it will automatically be at the bottom of your mod list, but if you plan to add more mods you need to download Oblivion Mod Manager (OBMM). It's very easy to use. http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=2097 Read the instructions carefully regarding installing. You can change your load order by selecting the mod name, then using the buttons at the bottom of the list, move them up or down as required. To post a load order when you have more mods go to Import/Export at the right side of the window. Select View Load Order and a text file will appear in a new window. Use the disc icon at the top to save it to a text file. Copy and paste the text where needed. You don't need it for one mod though. Older versions of Deadly Reflex are known to have problems for some people. Make sure you only have one of the Timed Block esps in your data folder and active in the game launcher. Is your game patched to Version 1.2? Otherwise other mods won't work either. Something I forgot to ask. Are you using the Oblivion Script Extender (OBSE)? This mod needs it to run. bben46 Posted April 1, 2009 Share Posted April 1, 2009 Deadly reflex is one of the most difficult mods to get to work, even for experienced mod users. It is a very complex mod that changes a lot of things. It has specific requirements on what else MUST be installed. If anything is missing it will not work. It also has problems with many other mods, and as Maigrets said, it must be installed last in your load order.
