I'm really new to modding and I installed the Folkvangr, Enhanced Blood Texture, Quality World Map and the Enchaned Lights and FX mods via Vortex. I already installed SKSE. I was not happy with the Enhanced Lights and Fx mod because it was too dark for me at night so I tried to deactivate it via Vortex. After that I started Skyrim and when I clicked on "Continue" there was a message that basically told me that this save uses files whichare no longer available in game( in this case the Light mod and the Enhanced Blood Texture; i deactivated that as well because it created buggy pink squares on the ground instead of blood). The game then asks me if I still want to continue. So I press yes and after a couple of seconds in the loading screen Skyrim just crashes. I really would appreciate some help on that topic because I tried to delete the mod itself aswell and not only deactivate it but that didnt solve the problem. Hietanen Posted April 7, 2022 Share Posted April 7, 2022 This is common since your current save relies on the content from those mods and will not work without them. One solution, if you don't want to keep the mods, is to go back to a save before you installed them. Another solution is to install FallrimTools. This program can remove unused elements from your save files so that the game don't reference them anymore.
